How to Get to Camden
Camden is a borough located in north London, neighbouring the Islington, Westminster, City of London, Brent, Barnet and Haringey boroughs.
The closest stations to the cafes mentioned in this post are Camden Town, Camden Road, Kentish Town West, King’s Cross St Pancras Underground Station, Warren Street, Chalk Farm, Holborn and Euston!
But if you’re unsure which route to take from your location, I recommend planning your journey on the TFL Go or Citymapper app!

Where to Stay in Camden
Contrary to popular belief, Camden doesn’t just consist of Camden Town. So although the popular choice to stay in Camden would be in Camden Town, I would say the best place to stay in Camden is the King’s Cross area instead (yes, King’s Cross is part of the Camden borough)!
Not only is King’s Cross the best area to stay in Camden but also the best area to stay in all of London, in my opinion. It’s within walking distance to Camden Town, there are tons of things to do and it’s so close to many other areas of London, including central London (you could even walk there if you wanted to)!

1. Corretto By The Canal
📍3 Water Lane, London NW1 8NZ
In the heart of Camden Market Hawley Wharf, you’ll find an authentic Italian brunch spot, Corretto by the Canal. And as you can tell by the name, it’s a cafe by Regent’s Canal, which automatically gives off Venice vibes.
They serve breakfast and brunch all day and in the evening, they serve handmade gnocchi dishes. Since it’s an Italian cafe, they also serve Aperol Spritz and various other kinds of Spritz.
One of the signature pastries they offer here is the XL croissant, a huge croissant filled with scrambled eggs, pancetta, Hollandaise sauce and parmigiana, big enough for about 3-4 people to eat!
Must Try: Italian hot chocolate
Closest station: Camden Town
2. The Fields Beneath
📍52a Prince of Wales Rd, London NW5 3LN
The Fields Beneath is probably one of the best vegan cafes you’ll find in all of London! It sits under the arches beneath Kentish Town West Station, right next to the Camden Town Brewery.
What I love about The Fields Beneath is that it’s an ethical, openly queer-friendly space with a range of vegan pastries, sandwiches, coffees and wines to enjoy! Also, unlike many other cafes, The Fields Beneath doesn’t charge extra for non-dairy milk!
This cafe is just a cute, cosy spot to grab a coffee and cake while catching up with friends. They even sell their own merch which is just amazing!

Elie’s Cafe is a coffee shop and salad bar, perfect for those who fancy a brunch. They offer all-day breakfast, salad bowls, poke bowls, hot bowls, smoothies, wines, cocktails, tea and of course, coffee.
What makes Elie’s Cafe so iconic is the range of colourful drinks! They have “fashionably lattes” where you can have pink, blue and spiced chai lattes, which perfectly suits Elie’s Cafe’s colourful vibe.

6. Qima Cafe
📍 21 Warren St, London W1T 5LT

So if you’re looking for high-quality coffee, this is where you’ll want to visit.
They offer top quality, speciality coffee (with coffee beans from Yemen and Columbia) as well as high-quality pastries baked by a Michelin-starred pastry chef! Plus the aesthetic and atmosphere here is amazing, with every order being personally attended to.
What I also love about Qima Cafe is the philosophy and values shown through the Qima Foundation. Their mission is to “empower coffee farming communities worldwide, catalysing a transformative journey towards unparalleled property and sustainable growth in agricultural value chains.” Additionally, they donate a coffee tree for every cup of coffee sold and donate 10% of their annual profits to education and agriculture projects.

10. Cafebotanical.
📍Hogarth House, 136 High Holborn, London WC1V 6PX
If there’s one spot on this list of best cafes in Camden which has the perfect coworking space, it would be Cafebotanical. It’s an all-day cafe and Gin & Tonic lounge in Holborn with a pretty interior, yummy coffee and tons of seats, sofas and tables to work!
It’s a pretty popular spot, especially in the afternoon and during happy hour between 4 pm and 6 pm. So I’d recommend visiting earlier in the day to secure a seat! They also offer pastries and snacks that you can munch on while doing some work.
